Smith Motor Wheel This is a Smith Motor Wheel, exhibited at the Cayucos, CA show. It is owned and was restored by a member of Branch 27 of the E.D.G.E. & T.A. The Smith rights were purchased by Briggs & Stratton who later produced the Motor Wheel under their own name. Notice the external magneto which is a feature of the Smith. The Briggs & Stratton Motor Wheel had a flywheel magneto.

Water Cooled Model Z This water cooled Model Z Briggs & Stratton is owned by Del Packard. This engine is a marine engine designed for small boats. These engines evidently were assembled by Briggs from special castings done especially for U.S. Motors who actually marketed the engines. This is the first of this type of engine that I have actually seen.

Briggs Flyer

This Briggs & Stratton Flyer is owned by Tom Marshall of Portland Oregon. Tom's work is always first class and he has actually done restoration work for the Briggs & Stratton Museum in Milwaukee, WI. Tom makes many reproduction parts for the Motor Wheel and the Flyer.

Ellinwood Engine
This Ellinwood engine was restored by Erv Birzer. These engines are uncommon, and this one will be donated to the museum in Ellinwood Kansas.
